I spent a recent afternoon with Jake. By now, you know who he is and you know what he does. They're called Test Shots. I've always been a huge fan of them and they're always done so well. When Jake called me up and said he was ready to turn his camera on yours truly, I was like "'bout time." Kidding. Click over to have a look. Had a great time doing it and a huge thanks to Jake for placing me amongst such venerable company.

Such a big look, James.
Good look James but I have to admit that I find the test shots a bit 'OTT'. I think it's the fact that it's all in slow motion.
Which shades are you rocking there though?
Looks great Jimmy. One of the best one's I've seen Jake do.
Hope your well.
Best
Halo
2 Dickheads come to mind.
i have to admit, ive been a fan of the blog for over a year now and yr probably one of the very few dudes that actually get it. i really agree with yr stance on things and appreciate where you came from.
good work sir.
that pocket square is really dang amazing...
Nice video spot light as well.
Cheers.
I agree with JP. I have just started to follow this blog and a few others, and It's awesome how "small" the blog community really is when you get like-minded people together. Very inspirational. Thanks.
Twat, a typical of an american tweeb. Small dick syndrome.
dam you sounds like thurston howell the 3rd on that shit. wassup with that accent?
You seem like a cool guy and all but these test shots just reek of douchebaggery. I mean the levels of self absorbedness it takes it to when you're discussing your style philosophy is just ridiculous.
really nice. where's that watch band from? love the subtle yellow color.
I can't believe someone would waste their entire NYU film school education on "fashion" shots. Are you kidding me! There are people dieing to get accepted into NYU, so they can meaningful films, and Jake Davis gives us this. Life isn't fair.
Jake Davis possibly wasted $90,000 (Cost of NYU for 4 years) at Tisch School of Arts for this? Pretentious slow motion videos. People who are serious about film and attending NYU, are trying to make films that detail moral and social issues, aswell as emotional contentions. And Jake Davis decides he'll take everything he learned and make videos about people's style? Fashion is nice, but it isn't everything. There's so many things that are way more important in life than how someone wears there ludlow herringbone sportcoat from jcrew. Jake Davis videos=Pure superficiality. His videos are an insult to anyone who wants to make great films, but can't because they don't have the money to afford top films schools such as NYU.
good fukin gawdddd! that you participated in that is bad enough. that you would actually tell anyone after the fact is beyond belief.
James, what bag is that? Style is impeccable.
eric, the bag is by a friend. the line's called O'Shields-Ricker. Check them out online. Also search secret forts for them. I've posted on them a few times.(I have a few of the bags) And thanks for the kind words man.
