The original patent drawings of the Bean boots are virtually indistinguishable from the current Bean boot. Well...there are some minor changes, but overall the same good looking boot we all love. I have over on my blog the patent drawing for the original tassle loafer as well as a pair of the 1940's Bean boot.

BTW, I love the blog.
