i find a stark contrast between the Made in USA garments and tags (as well as japan and european makers) you post on the blog and then items like Jcrew.
i'm all for supporting products made in the good ol' USA, but not to point that it makes you into a pompous jackass who frowns upon everything else. real men don't care, real men don't try to out 'americana' each other.
I picked up a couple of pairs of the Solmate socks last week courtesy of Ace Hotel Palm Springs vending machine - a little too warm to wear in PS but perfect for the cooler weather in the UK
What? no Redwings?!? Hilarious! You guys that get off on this nonsense really need to get lives. How can posting a bunch of mostly silly pics of foppish, dandy menswear be considered a good thing?
anon, the Epperson pack is a good day pack. Unsure as to it's water-proof qualities much further than a rainy day in NYC. But a handsome pack for both peak and valley, trail and city block.
How do you walk so there are no creases in your shoes?
ReplyDeletehow do the apolis jeans fit? ive been eyeing them for a few weeks but dont know anyone who has them
ReplyDeleteKiller fit, but the watch is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteGreat kit you've put together! I really like the Epperson backpack, which I've had my eye on for months.
ReplyDeleteIf you wouldn't mind me asking some questions about the pack:how is the quality, is it water proof/resistant, and how roomy is it?
Thanks in advance,
Thomas

ReplyDeletejames, your trail oxfords look great.
ReplyDeleterd, the Apolis jeans are a great slim straight fit. Refer to their sizing chart, but for me, sturdy and well-fitting.
