  1. I too have the storm parka, awesome jacket, but I definitely still need to layer for these Canadian winters.

Question, I own a Timex oversize camper, is the "easy reader" or the"dress strap" watch that you posted previously similar in size? And do they tick loudly? My camper would keep me up at night if I didn't put it away in its box...

I like your assortment of nylon straps also, are they the same ones that you can pick up at j.crew, for some reason they're quite hard to come by where I'm at...

    Thanks, and GREAT blog

  7. How do you get your APCs to look so lived in? I've had a pair of New Standards for a year-plus now, and they still look fairly brand new despite multiple wears per week. Does it have something to do with the kind of wash/how often you wash them? (Apologies if you've already posted on this.)

  8. anon, I've had the A.P.C's for maybe 2 1/2-3 years, and just wore the shit outta them. I would soak them occasionally, but bout 6 or 8 months ago, washed/dried them. Gentle cycled, inside out. Now, I just wash/dry them whenever. Bottom line being that I really have just worn them in and in no rush to get em faded. That'll happen. Thanks for visiting Secret Forts.
