The Country Ham Biscuit at Egg is my favorite! Psyched that you put it on there. I do have to confess that sometimes I get hashbrowns instead of the grits (even though i love them).
My father has one of those duffle bags...an ancient faded navy blue one with the green stripes and leather handles. It looks far more weather beaten than the ones in the picture, but it is undoubtedly the same.

There must be something in the air. I pulled out my postcard of Wyeth's "Road to Friendship" just last week. I used to live about 20 miles from there, and this watercolor always evokes very complicated memories for me, particularly in late autumn, which tends to be wet and cold in Maine, and can be utterly miserable if you're not prepared one way or another.
