Tough as Hell: "The Pacific", HBO Films.

if you've been watching Bored to Death or Curb, you've undoubtedly seen this trailer.

Zipper/Button Porn, etc. : Titan Trading co.

After having a tour of the Titan facilities, and once Raan and Mike had taken care of Apolis business, Jason says, "You'll really like this." and walks us back to his office where, on the wall, is the largest zipper I've seen firsthand and a desk

I emailed Jason about some of the items. This is what he had to say.

"...the large Crown zipper (spring loaded) was purchased on ebay many years ago. same with the book/knife/matches. The carhartt book was used as a crop account book and inventory records. The other books were mainly time books."

Jason's been apart of the company his father started back in '83 since he was a kid and now does a little bit of everything around the place, concentrating mostly in client relations.

Big thanks to Jason for letting me document the visit, for lunch and for the lift to Carlstadt.

Agenda: PopRally, An Evening of Skate Videos.

"In honor of the MoMA retrospective Spike Jonze: The First 80 Years, PopRally has invited producer and photographer Patrick O'Dell (of Epicly Later'd) to create a special compilation of seminal skateboard videos from the 1980s to today. Jonze, whose own contributions to the genre will be featured, notes that, "Skate videos have been a big influence and a big part of what I've done for a long time. They are how I got into film, actually." This unique screening is followed by a conversation with legendary skateboarders and filmmakers, including Jonze, Lance Mountain, Greg Hunt, Jake Phelps, Ty Evans, and other surprise guests.

Afterward please join us upstairs for a special performance by NO AGE."
